HomeChef steak

This steak was cut like garbage.  The other one is really nice looking.  The potatoes didn't cook.  The only highlight was the creamy sauce.  It was made from 'cream base', parm cheese, buttermilk dill seasoning, fresh chives.

Eggroll in a bowl

Seriously, this is what I make every time I have ground pork.  Sorry it repeats!

Honey Garlic Chicken

This turned out really good and was very fast to make.  I started up with HomeChef again because they offered a couple discount boxes.   Diced chicken broccoli, diced small 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 carrot, diced small teriyaki sauce honey green onions, cut and separate whites and greens packet Uncle Ben's Jasmine rice Diced chicken seasoned with black pepper and cooked in olive oil.  5-7 minutes Bite size broccoli and should have been bite sized carrots, but some of them were huge so they didn't cook all the way!  Cook in some olive oil for about 2-3 minutes, then add green onion whites, 1/4 cup water, seasoning blend (called Asian garlic, ginger, chili), salt, pepper, and cook 4-5 minutes.   Add some olive oil to a pan, cook 2 minced cloves garlic about 30 seconds, add chicken, teriyaki, and honey.   Plate and sprinkle green onion greens over top.

Pepperjacks

Finally visited Pepperjacks for the first time.  I got a stromboli sub which is like an italian hot cut with marinara on top.  Also boardwalk fries, and a pb shake.  The shake tasted more like chocolate, but it was thick and so so good!  The sub and fries were just ok to me.

Pork and kraut for New Years Day

I made pork for New Years Day.  It is traditional.  Pigs root forward and we are moving forward to a new year. The boneless pork chops cooked in some kraut with diced apple, diced onion, and brown sugar.  Redskin mashed potatoes and gravy on the side.  Dijon mustard for me!

Margarita

I got margarita glasses for Christmas!  My perfect margarita is 1 can of frozen limeade, half a can Sauza Silver, 1/4 can triple sec, and lots of ice blended in a blender.  Yum.

Spaghetti

I am getting a lot better at making spaghetti that tastes good. Into a pot goes 1 bottle of mushroom spaghetti sauce, then add Italian seasoning, browned ground beef, 2 cloves garlic and almost 1 whole onion that have been cooked in olive oil.  Serve over spaghetti noodles.  I buy garlic toast with cheese to go with my spaghetti.
