Birthday Cake

I know everyone is making very Easter like desserts right now, but I made a birthday cake for my niece. Its a yellow cake with chocolate frosting

I used Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Frosting recipe, but doubled. I always seem to need more frosting :) yum

"PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add small amount additional milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.

The yellow frosting is actually lemon frosting from *shocking* a CAN from the store
and I piped it with my really bad icing skills.

I added sugar decorations that said Happy Birthday bought from the store after this was taken

I'm really excited to eat this tomorrow. It all smelled so good. It's like torture having it sit on the counter
