Mini Naan Pizzas

I made my favorite pizzas.  Arugula with pesto and balsamic and pepperoni with hot honey.  Quick and easy Friday night.  I wish I had prosciutto for the arugula one, but it was still great.

Hello Fresh Hot Honey Pizza

We got out of work early Thursday because of lightning so I had time to make this!  You need at least an hour.  You have to proof the dough, roll it into two pizzas, proof again, add toppings and bake about 13 minutes.  This had almost the exact toppings I always put on pizza.  It was diced shallot, green pepper, and tomatoes, plus pepperoni.  Then use olive oil on the edges.  After baking drizzle hot honey and dip in ranch dressing.  The recipe was very good, but I already make my own pizzas for pretty cheap.  I'd probably not buy it again.

Homemade Pizza

This was the most round pizza I've made so far!  I had to share it.

Pizza

I love making pizza.  I need to get fancier with my toppings.  It's usually peppers, onions, pepperonis.

Pizza Puffs

Ingredients: Butter Pillsbury pizza crust Mozzarella cheese, shredded Pizza sauce Pepperoni, cut into 4ths Italian herbs Preheat oven to 375 Butter a muffin tin really well Cut pizza crust into squares to fit into a muffin tin cup and up the sides Add mozzarella cheese Layer pizza sauce, pepperoni, cheese, herbs, top with a whole pepperoni, sprinkle more herbs. Bake for 15 minutes. I used Italian seasoning in the puff and topped with just dried oregano. Serve with warm pizza sauce on the side if you wish.

Homemade Pizza

For Christmas one year I asked for a pizza stone.  I got a pizza stone, pizza peel, and pizza cutter!  We finally broke out the pizza tools and made a homemade pizza and it was so good!  I bought two dough balls at Food Lion.  They had herb and plain for only $2.50.  I actually got 2 pizzas out of each ball of dough.   Use a paper towel and rub olive oil onto your pizza stone and place on the center rack of the oven. Heat your oven to 475 degrees with the pizza stone in the oven. Let the dough sit out at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.  You can prepare your toppings at this time, like cutting up the veggies. I covered my counter in parchment paper then sprinkled it with flour. Then I put the dough ball on the parchment and sprinkled it with a bit of flour. I also floured the rolling pin. The dough is so sticky! I rolled my dough out into a round shape, but it did snap back on one side. Put the dough on a floured pizza peel and shimmy it onto t...

Fig, goat cheese, caramelized onion, apple, arugula flatbread

Snowflake Pizzas

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Thaw sheets of puff pastry dough Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter Top with pizza sauce, cheese, toppings Bake for 10-12 minutes

Christmas Tree Pizzas

Ingredients: 1 roll of refrigerated puff pastry 1 jar of pizza sauce Shredded mozz and provolone mix Hormel mini pepperoni Thinly sliced and diced green pepper Directions: Using a tree cookie cutter, cut puff pastry and place on parchment paper. I got about 16 trees out of 1 sheet of dough. Top with toppings. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. I had absolutely none of these leftover!  I will def make more for another party.  I prepped all of these the morning of the party and just kept the pans in the fridge.  I baked one tray off early and one toward the end of the party for late comers.

Prosciutto with goat cheese and arugula

Heat oven and bake the flatbread bare for about 10 minutes.   Heat olive oil in a skillet and add diced onion.  Cook until almost brown.  Add a little water and sugar and cook until pan is dry again. Spread fig jam on warm flatbread, top with cheeses, onion, proscuitto.   Bake in oven until cheese is melted. Top with arugula and a drizzle of olive oil. Cut into pieces. Other good toppings are toasted walnuts, crushed red peppers, and sliced apples.

Neo Pizza

So we had a great pizza/happy hour place called Pub Dog.  There was a gas leak that blew up part of the shopping center and everything has been closed for over a year now.  This place popped up where Cheeburger Cheeburger used to be and I was eager to try the white pizza with arugula and prosciutto.  People had also raved about the onion rings so I grabbed those too.  This whole meal was a huge let down on a Friday night :(  I won't be back.

Goat cheese flatbread

After the delicious HomeChef flatbread I made my own!  I just didn't buy any arugula

Ledos Pizza

My co-workers frequently ask me what my topping combo is for Ledos.  It is a veggie pizza with sausage added.  Mushrooms, peppers and onions and the awesomest sausage around.

Using up Pizza Dough

I made pigs in a blanket using leftover pizza dough. It tasted the same as using crescent dough and I happened to have both pizza dough and hot dogs in the fridge :)

Buffalo Chicken Calzone

I made two giant calzones and it was really too spicy for me (I think it was our brand of wing sauce) and now I have a whole one sitting in my fridge that has been left uneaten. 1 pound chicken breasts 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese handfuls of mexican cheese blend half of a small onion, diced minced garlic 1 cup wing sauce 1 roll of Pillsbury thin crust pizza dough (Its the long tube of dough in the refrigerated section)This is the same dough I use for pepperoni rolls 2 tablespoons melted butter Olive oil Preheat oven to 400 degrees In a wok cook the chicken, breaking up the breasts into bite sized pieces, add the garlic and onion to the wok. Remove the chicken mixture and put it in a large sauce pan on the stove top. Add the wing sauce and cream cheese and mix everything together until cream cheese is melted. Spray a baking sheet well with olive oil spray Lay out the pizza dough Cut the pizza dough into two equal pieces Use a brush and brush the pizza dough with butter Add a lay...

Pepperoni Roll

Last night I made spicy garlic lime chicken with penne noodles. I wasn't a huge fan. I dont know if I made it right. The leftover noodles and salad are going to accompany todays creation Today I have a pepperoni roll in the oven and OMG it smells good! It looks great too I made just a few adjustments to this recipe The adjustments were I bought pizza dough in a can, I used the whole thing and did not cut it in half to make two and I used regular Hormel pepperoni not turkey. It may have been better to cut in half and make two because then I worried about the dough in the middle cooking. I put mine on a foil covered baking sheet. I would recommend spraying the foil with Pam before putting the really sticky dough on it.   Pepperoni Roll  Ingredients:  1 can of refrigerated pizza dough.  I buy Pillsbury. Pepperoni  Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Shredded Parmesan Cheese Butter, melted Italian Seasoning  Garlic Salt or Powder      Olive Oil...
