Brownie Oreo Lush Dessert

Bake brownies in a 9x13 pan using the 'cake like' instructions.  Cool for at least 1 hour. Blend 1 package softened cream cheese, 2 cups thawed Cool Whip, and 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth in a mixer with paddle attachment.  Top the brownies with Cool Whip mixture. Crush 20 Oreo cookies in a food processor.  Top the Cool Whip layer with about 16 cookies worth on crumbs, saving about 4 cookies worth for later.  Mix 2 packages instant chocolate pudding with 3 cups of milk in mixer with the whisk attachment.  Beat about 3 minutes until thick.  Top with remaining Cool Whip.  I wish I had a little more!  I recommend getting the larger than 8 ounce size. The final step is before eating, you add the reserved 4 crushed cookie crumbs.

Blondies

My mom has this recipe. The blondies had toffee pieces, white chocolate chips, and nuts. I thought they were good but my mom wasn't into them. I took photos in case she loved them and wanted to save the recipe on my blog.

Peanut Butter Frosted Brownies

Last weekend I made a box mix of brownies that had chocolate chunks in it and I decided it needed some doctoring. I made a batch of peanut butter frosting to go on top of them and kept the brownies in the fridge. I used this frosting recipe and had leftover.

Creme de Menthe Brownies

I went to a very large cookie swap party last weekend. There were 30 RSVPs! I tripled this recipe in order to pack 6 brownies into each container and still have extra for snacking during the party. I went to the dollar store to buy the to go containers and I bought the tags from Michaels. I printed the recipe out and cut and pasted it to the inside of the holiday labels. This is the recipe my mother uses every year Creme de Menthe Brownies 1 cup butter or margarine, softened and divided 1 cup sugar 4 eggs 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt 1 (16 oz) can of Hershey’s chocolate syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups sifted powdered sugar 3 tbsp crème de menthe 1 (6oz) pkg semisweet chocolate morsels Cream ½ cup butter; gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Pour b...

Cheesecake Brownies

So one of my favorite pizza places, Armand's has cheesecake brownies or they USED to have cheesecake brownies. We went a week ago and when I ordered one to go, the waitress said they didnt have any and were only going to make 1 kind of brownie from now on. WHAT?! They took the best thing on the menu away. So I looked up a cheesecake brownie recipe, bought the ingredients, and had ment to make the brownies for a week. I made them today. They really satisfy :) in fact I want to eat the whole pan. Luckily our basement renter and my husband have had one already so now if I eat the rest it wont be the whole pan. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chunky-Cheesecake-Brownies/Detail.aspx Cheesecake Brownies INGREDIENTS * 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened * 1/4 cup white sugar * 1 egg * 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips * 1/4 cup butter * 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips * 1/2 cup white sugar * 2 eggs * 2/3 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon ...

Great Steak

Safeway had a huge 6 pack of steaks for $16. They were nice thick, not too fatty, no bone kind of steaks. I grabbed them up. I also bought 2 cucumbers and some dill to make Bettina's cucumber salad. When I got home I threw the steaks in a ziplock bag with some balsamic vinaigrette, minced garlic, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper. They marinated about 2 hours. I peeled and thinly sliced my cucumbers, threw them in a bowl, added sour cream and splashes of vinegar, then salt and pepper. I chopped up my fresh dill and threw that in too and stirred. I set it in the fridge for about 2 hours also. Then I had some quick biscuit mix, cheddar garlic flavor. All I had to do was add water and drop them on a cookie sheet. The biscuits were actually pretty good. They could have used a little butter brushed on top. Maybe next time :) After dinner we had dessert. Its ridiculous to eat this well on a Wed night right? Brownies and ice cream. All Safeway made, but still yummy. I microw...
