I made my braised red cabbage in the crockpot again. This time I started with double the liquid and seasonings for about 3/4 a red cabbage. I was so tired I forgot to turn the crockpot on. I ended up cooking it on high for about 3 hours and it worked just as well as cooking on low for 6-7 hours.
I also decided to try the breading method on some thin pork chops that I didn't flatten. The chops were baked at 400 degrees in the oven until the internal temp was 145. I love my digital thermometer. It is one of the best cooking tools! The chops cooked well, but the breading was not that fried crisp texture I was looking for.
Throw the chops in the air fryer with a spray of avocado oil and I got my desired result!
Less oil and a crispy breaded pork chop.
