It is officially fall. We had a tropical cyclone dump rain on us all weekend long so I made chili.
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds ground beef, browned with salt and pepper
3 cans kidney beans
3 cans tomato sauce
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 sweet onion, diced
1 jalapeno, diced
1 packet of McCormick chili season
Brown the ground beef with a little salt and pepper. Throw everything in a crockpot on low for about 4 hours.
Top however you like it. I prefer sour cream, cheddar cheese, and tortilla chips in mine. Boyfriend likes cornbread over tortilla chips with his chili.
